Position Overview
The Client Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our client services team. This position provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure our clients receive timely, professional, and personalized service. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, empathetic, and passionate about contributing to the growth of Black-owned businesses.
As the CA/PA, you will play a pivotal role in managing both the personal and professional needs of our Global Partnership Director / Executive Leadership Team at BBB. while contributing to the visual identity and branding efforts of Black Business Bridge. Your ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and execute tasks with precision will be key to your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support:
• Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining client records.
• Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and other platforms in a timely and professional manner.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and follow-ups between clients and advisors.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth communication.
Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client databases and documentation.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries.
• Coordinate logistics for events, webinars, and workshops as required.
Operational Support:
• Assist in organizing and distributing client materials, resources, and program information.
• Support internal teams with data entry, document management, and file organization.
• Monitor client feedback and help identify areas for improved service delivery.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives related to client experience.

Qualifications & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or client relations (nonprofit or startup experience is a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
